View partyAn indoor funfair with dodgems, and a five-star Bond ball overlooking the Thames — both a short walk from North Greenwich station.
The Greenwich Peninsula has become one of the more interesting places to hold a large London Christmas party, largely because the venues there were purpose-built this century rather than converted. Both options here have space to do things a hotel ballroom cannot.
Urban Funfair is the one to look at if your group will not all want the same thing. It splits a genuine indoor fairground — dodgems, carousel-style bar, immersive lighting — from a dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows across the Thames to Canary Wharf. Dinner is two courses with dessert stations, deliberately short, and afterwards guests can circulate between rides, bars and a dancefloor.
Skyball is the polished option: red-carpet arrival, three courses with a live band playing 007 soundtracks, then casino tables and a glitter bar from 10pm. The InterContinental has around 450 bedrooms, a spa and a pool, so staying over is straightforward.

View partyNorth Greenwich is around eight minutes from Magazine London and a short walk from the InterContinental. London Bridge is roughly twenty minutes away on the Jubilee line, which puts most central London offices within one change. Canary Wharf is a few minutes across the river, so Docklands teams have the easiest journey of anyone.
