What entertainment is included at a London shared Christmas party?

It varies by format, but the common inclusions are: acts between dinner courses (aerialists, dancers, circus performers), a live party band after dinner, a DJ later, casino tables with pretend money, costumed or roaming performers, and at some venues glitter bars, photobooths or dodgems. None of it is an extra — it is in the ticket price.

The reason a shared Christmas party works commercially is that the entertainment budget is split across every company in the room. A single team of thirty could not fund aerial performers, a six-piece band and full production lighting on its own; thirty teams of thirty can.

That is worth understanding when you compare a shared party against booking a restaurant. The restaurant gives you a private room and a meal. The shared party gives you a meal plus a production you could not otherwise afford — and that is the entire value proposition.
